This luxury residential project began when a returning client approached us with a newly acquired site he was keen to develop into a high-end family home. Having worked with Blue Sky CAD on previous projects, he trusted our expertise to help bring his vision to life — from assembling the right design team to overseeing the technical delivery.
We began by reviewing the site’s constraints and potential, then introduced the client to a network of trusted professionals to form the wider design team. This included a planning architect, ecologist, structural and civil engineers, and an interior designer — each selected for their experience in bespoke residential developments. Our role was to coordinate these disciplines and ensure the architectural vision remained cohesive and achievable.
Once the concept was agreed, we produced the full set of construction drawings, including detailed building regulation documentation and technical specifications. These drawings formed the backbone of the tendering process, which we also managed — inviting contractors to quote, reviewing submissions, and advising the client on selection.
Throughout the build, we remained actively involved, providing ongoing support and coordination between the contractor, consultants, and client. Our involvement helped resolve technical queries, manage design adjustments, and ensure the project stayed aligned with the original vision.
The Result
The completed home is a striking example of residential architecture — combining generous proportions and high-spec finishes. The layout was designed to support modern family living, with open-plan social spaces, private retreats, and seamless connections to the landscaped garden. Every detail was considered, from the positioning of glazing to maximise natural light, to the integration of energy-efficient systems and bespoke interior features.
The client and his family moved in shortly after completion, delighted with the outcome and the smooth delivery of the project.
